New Personality Traits
I had heard that pregnant women have several new personality traits. Some are Extreme Hunger. "I NEED TO EAT NOW!" then you have the Mood Swings "Oh I Love you, I love everything" 2 minutes later "I don't like you, I don't like anything" Now I'm not speaking from experience.... yet.
But recently I have experienced the Crying at Anything. Again, I know "But Barb you cry at anything already!" Well the other day Dave was out watching the Wolverines crush #2 Notre Dame, and I didn't go (laundry day). Anyway I decided that I would listen to it on the radio because we don't have TV. During half time there was a commercial for the "Best Show on Earth, Come to Michigan, Admission is free and Seats are available everywhere" The guys voice was soothing and yet sounded like "the movie voice". Well his description of this "Show" (the changing colour of the leaves) brought me to tears, and before I realized it my eyes were puffy, my nose was runny. All and all just a pathetic scene.
What makes this even more pathetic, was when Dave came home, I retold the story and it brought me to tears again!! Expalin that! Dave just looked at me, shook his head and said "You really are pregnant!"
Now I know I am not the only one who has experienced this, talking to some friends this week, they admitted to having similar experiences (but with TV commercials!)

Barb!!!!! I totally am like that now and I am not even pregnant. I cry at anything. I cry when I see men cry, when I see sappy commercials, when I read a good story. Heck I cried during Grey's Anatomy this week. I don't think I should get pregnant because then I will be EVEN worse. ouch.
btw....totally keep meaning to call but keep being lazy. sorry for being a bad friend, but I at least am reading your blog. And I will call before the end of the week. There. IT is written. I will!!!

BARB!!! I was completely surprised and blessed by your note on my blog. It has been WAY too long! Oh Dayton, OH...and a pack of smokes for the "non-smokers" in the car! HA!!! That was random. Congrats on being pregnant...I can't say I've had all the pregnant personality changes - I've had enough not being pregnant! I'll have to drum up some excuse for that. Anyways...TEXAS?!! Hope you guys are enjoying the fine hot weather...it's getting pretty cold up here. I think I still have a wedding present for you guys sitting somewhere...LOL! I'm a dork! Next time your visiting Canuckville it would be great to see you again...it's been WAY too long!
