Fall Break

Contrary to the impression left by our lack of posting, new things have happened over the past 3 weeks--we've just been too lazy to write about them. But here's a brief report.

Last weekend we went to St. Catharines for 4 days. I had this past Mon. and Tues. off, so we made a long weekend of it. We had a good time visiting family and friends. on Fri. night, we went to the casino with Jeff and Becky and Dan and Shanta. I won $40 playing poker, so I felt good about that. Saturday, Dad and I went to a bar to watch the Aggies upset #19 Missouri (felt very good about that!). We also went to see my brother Jon's hockey game on Sat. night. Sunday we had dinner with Dad and Les, and Mon. we had dinner with my family to celebrate Karen's birthday.

We actually thought that Karen might have her baby while we were home, but, alas, she didn't. (I think she was induced today...) So we'll have to wait until Christmas to see her.

Things are heating up at school these days. I have a presentation and paper due next week, so I better get back to working on that...
