Weekend Visitors

My parents came here for a visit this past weekend. We didn't do much out of the ordinary, but we had a great time relaxing and visiting for a few days. Nothing too intense. We went out to eat for most meals. Saturday morning we hung out Starbucks while Barb worked.

The highlight (for Dad and I) was spending most of Saturday in a sports bar--the first 4 hours securing seats for the big game; the next 4 hours we spent watching the game. It turned out to be a great game with a less than great result for the Wolverines. Nonetheless, it was cool to be among die-hard Wolverines to experience all the emotion associated with the rivalry. Barb and Mom went shopping while we held our seats and then they went home at halftime for a nap and to watch the rest of the game from our couch.
