Heads spinning...

I guess we've been a little delinquent in our posting recently. From my end (Barb can speak for herself...), things have been quite busy since the new term started. What with trying to come up with a new weekly schedule that will accommodate all my academic and other obligations, meeting new students, reacquainting with friends who've returned, adjusting to new classes, and of course reading for and writing my thesis, I hardly have time to do everything, let alone sit down and type about it.

But things are going well so far. The intro class I'm teaching is fun; the students seem to be pretty inquisitive and participate well. Based on the first two weeks, it looks like my logic class will consume more time per week than I originally thought it would. But I can't spare any of the hours I've allotted to thesis research for each week. So it looks like I'll just have to work more total hours than I originally anticipated.

It's the football home opener this weekend. The excitement is definitely building on campus. Can't wait to join the 12th Man! (Although I probably should be doing some reading...)
